  Faithful and Discreet Slave Parable

  Matthew 24:45-47 "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings."

  As of July 15, 2013, this is considered to be “old light” by the Governing Body. Rather than viewing the entire group of 144,000 as the “faithful slave,” it is the Governing Body alone who is the “faithful slave.”

  “Who, then, is the faithful and discreet slave? In keeping with Jesus’ pattern of feeding many through the hands of a few, that slave is made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during Christ’s presence,” (Watchtower, July 15, 2013, p. 22).

  This parable is the how the WTBTS have exerted all their power and influence since the last 140 years. The so-called ''Faithful and Discreet Slaves'' who numbered over 15,000 in 2015 are of no use. They are just a distraction. They never dispense any food. They are of no use in the congregations. They don't help any member in any way. If they were really ''appointed over his domestics,'' they would have real functions in field service, assemblies, and heading the congregations.

  What does the WTBTS really need expansion? Money...Fame....Power ?

  I purchase all my lawn and snow equipment from the same hardware store near my house. Thirty- five years ago, they employed only four people...a father and his three sons. Today, this same family owned company employs over 100 workers and operates five warehouses near a 50 mile radius full of lawn and snow equipment. They just keep on expanding.

  I ask myself these questions every time I hear about another of their warehouse expansions :

  Why does this lawn equipment company feel the need to expand? Don't they have enough money/revenue? Doesn't expansion cause more headaches, employee theft, injuries, lawsuits, and human resource problems? At what point will they be happy?

  Now, I ask the same question about the WTBTS :

  Doesn't the Society have enough money? Doesn't the expansion from a few thousand members (1870's ) to eight million ( today ) cause the Society more headaches, lawsuits, and human resource problems? Does power and notoriety over 8 million really feel that good? Now that the internet has caught up with you, do you have more sleepless nights?

  I see that you made a brochure for me and all inactive Jehovah's Witnesses. I won't bother reading it because what you present and what is the truth are too far apart.

  It gets really tiring to hear on the reasons/excuses why we have so many brothers/ sisters who become ''inactive ''. Please stop blaming us on why we become '' inactive ''. It is not because we are concerned about material wealth, lack of personal study, tiring out, attending college, work/career matters, our choice in music, who we marry/ who our friends are, not getting the position in the congregation, not spending enough hours in field service field service hours, and many, many more reasons your organization have come up with.

  I spent forty years of my life in your organization. Spent countless hours in field service, personal study and weekly meetings. Materialistic.... I never was. All my friends were either family or Jehovah's Witnesses. I was never disappointed that I was never chosen as a Ministerial Servant. Smoking / drinking or looking for another partner was not/ is something I participated in.

  I DID become '' SPIRITUALLY WEAK '' after forty years watching your Organization lie to me. I did tire out from all your false beliefs,doctrines and practices.

  Next time,can the SOCIETY print a more truthful brochure titled, ''The Real Reasons Why We Have So Many INACTIVE''?

  Alfred is 100 % right ! Google Maps does show tennis courts and a basketball court on the property. The picture Alfred shows speaks volumes on what the Society thinks of themselves and what they think of the brothers and sisters in Haiti.

  I was on a cruise last year and the cruise ship made a stop in Labadee,Haiti. It was a beach area for the cruise line. Looking at the town of Labadee, it had homes with sheet metal roofs,homes no larger than a two car garage,hilly with bad dirt roads,smoking hot all year long and I'm sure that 99.9% of all the homes have no air-conditioning.

  While all the Warwick faithful enjoy their air-conditioned rooms, offices, and maybe play a little tennis and a game of basketball, the last thing in their minds is the people of Haiti.

  I was baptized in 1974 at a young age of 13 years. The fear that was instilled in me through the talks and magazines was that 1975 might be the end of the old system of things. Brothers who owned businesses sold them to go into the full time ministry. There was a panic mode to pioneer and look spiritual. The talks were how take advantage of the time remaining.

  Here we are in 2017 ( 43 years later ), the Watchtower Society build this enormous facility out in the boondocks at the expense of the all Witnesses who truly believed that the system of things was close. Countless money and time has been spent from every Witness from the late 1870's - 2017. While the Faithful and Discreet Slave keep promising that the end is near, life will continue in the same vain ( slaving with no benefits or results ) for all Jehovah's Witnesses who serve today and in the future!
